A close friend and business associate passed away unexpectedly on Memorial Day in a kayaking accident. He was one of those guys who inspired everyone he met. Some people leave a legacy.
His sudden death has been really hard on me this week. I'm lucky to have known Bob Schmidt. I'll miss our frank chats and his great advice. Every time I talked to him he would recommend a new book to read. I think I'll start reading more of them.
